Meet Leslie Rosales

Leslie is a psychometrician, an educational researcher, and an educator. Being a preschool teacher herself, Leslie firmly believes in Robert Fulghum’s (1986) phrase “everything you need to know in life, you learn in kindergarten.” Truly, in the first years of a child’s life, he or she learns the fundamental socio-emotional and cognitive skills for lifelong learning. This conviction has led Leslie to dedicate her research to develop measurement tools to evaluate learning and growth, particularly of children in the early grades.

Her growth mindset has led her to achieve personal and professional goals. In the same way, Leslie hopes to advise educational institutions to be more effective by using reliable and valid evidence of their own. She believes that everyone can learn and grow.
